The Wonderful World of Fondant


I love to cover my cakes with rolled fondant. Fondant is a soft, sugar mass that is rolled out like pie crust. It is draped and smoothed over a cake to make a beautiful, soft matte finish. Rolled fondant is versatile. It can be colored, flavored, modeled, formed, twisted, imprinted, and cut out. This edible decoration tastes like a marshmallow.
